This red wine from Brigl Winery comes from pure Schiava grapes, grown on the Oltradige hills at an altitude of 300-450 meters above sea level, on sandy and clayey soils. After the manual harvest, the grapes are de-stemmed and ferment for a period of 8-10 days in steel at a controlled temperature, then follow malolactic fermentation and aging partly in oak barrels and partly in steel.
Characteristics of this wine from Trentino Alto Adige
The organoleptic examination shows a ruby red color and olfactory notes reminiscent of red berried fruits and wild flowers. The tannic texture is soft on the palate, pleasantly fruity and with an aftertaste of bitter almonds.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this red wine from Trentino Alto Adige
Excellent with typical dishes of the Tyrolean culinary tradition based on speck, cold cuts and meat. Try it with white meats and sweet cheese too. Serve at a temperature of 13-14 ° C in a medium-opening glass.
