This Sant'Antimo Rosso "LE DUE GEMME" of the Tenuta di Collosorbo is produced with 70% Sangiovese grapes, combined with Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. After the manual harvest, during which the grapes are scrupulously controlled, the grapes are crushed and destemmed with subsequent alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. Aging takes place for about 10 months in French and Slavonian oak barrels and large barrels, further refinement in the bottle for 4 months after blending.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
To the organoleptic examination it appears as a wine with an intense ruby red color; to the nose olfactory notes that refer to aromas of cherry, plum and red flowers. In the mouth it is robust, warm, with a nice freshness.
