The Sabazio is a red wine of Montepulciano which represents the La Braccesca estate. It has a DOC Rosso di Montepulciano certification and it represents the wisdom of the Prugnolo Gentile grapes. The grapes are 85% Prugnolo Gentile and 15% of Merlot grapes with other red compatible varieties. The vinification starts immediately after the picking which takes place at the end of September. The grapes are softly pressed and they start the fermentation in steel tanks where the fresh aromas of the wines are kept. At the end of the fermentation the wine is put in big barrels where it takes place the malolactic fermentation and it starts a period of maturation of 4 months. Finally it is prepared for the bottling.
