From the vinification of Barbera grapes in purity. The provenance is the classic one of Piedmont, and of Castelnuovo Calcea. Harvest by hand, then grapes are immediately vinified. Vinification involves that the grapes carry out a long fermentation, of about 20 days, at a temperature of 27-30 ° C, and then mature two years in oak barrels and two years in glass. Refinement only in exceptional years in a limited number of bottles and sold only on assignment. A bottle really for a few enthusiasts, since its label is designed by Ugo Nespolo, a great exponent of Pop Art.
