This Barolo DOCG "Riserva 10 anni" from Belcolle winery in Piedmont is produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the Verduno Boscatto and Verduno Monvigliero vineyards, near Cuneo: the vines are located at an altitude of 300-350 m asl on land calcareous-clayey. After the manual harvest, fermentation takes place for 15 days in contact with the skins, followed by vinification in wooden barrels. Aging involves a stay of 5 years in wooden barrels for both the Monvigliero and the Boscatto, which are then combined and refined for a further 5 years.
Characteristics of this red wine from Piedmont
