Satèn: it is a mention registered in the so called “Consorzio Franciacorta” that considers the use of Chardonnay grapes, a maximum atmospheric pressure of 4,5 atmospheres, a maximum sugar residual of 15 gr/l and a minimum aging of 24 months. The combination of these elements gives a soft and enchanting wine that recalls the silk. As it is perfect for convivial situations, it has been called Sansevé, a gaelic word for “Cheers!” (Salute! In Italian). 100% Chardonnay, cultivated in the DOCG area of Franciacorta, between Bornato, Brescia, Cazzago San Martino, Passirano, Adro, Iseo, Rodengo Saiano. After a careful selection, the grapes are harvested manually and placed in boxes. Soft pressing and selection of the best parts of the grapes. Each Cru is vinified separately. The fermentation is managed both in wood (15%) and in steel (85%) tanks. The aging lasts at least 24 months.
Features of this Franciacorta Saten wine
