The Barolo DOCG Bricco Rocche is the red wine from Piedmont for poison, with a deeper and bourgeois tradition. A wine of exemplary quality and prestige. Produced in the town of Castiglione Falletto with 100% pure Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyard used for its production in the territory of Castiglione Falletto is the smallest geographical mention among those outlined by the Barolo specification and has just over 1 hectare. However, it represents the most prestigious portion of the DOCG. In an area that was once called La Serra and is set between the Villero and the Rocche di Castiglione, of which it ideally represents the sum of the apical parts; it can be considered a monopoly because the whole parcel is the exclusive property of the Ceretto family. The height of breeding of the vineyard is perfect and goes from 350 to 370 meters above sea level, the exposure runs from south - east to south - west. The soils composed of Sandstones of Diano make it possible to reinforce the ideal sense of balance, suggested by the geographical position, and see in percentage a good presence of sand, silt and clay.
Characteristics of the Bricco Rocche Barolo DOCG
It has an intense ruby red color with deep and turbid orange reflections. The smell is characterized by herbs with intense peel aromas. It is always elegant with violet and rose aromas too. The taste is powerful, rich, sweet, fat and persistent. It is perfect to be aged.
