The Denomination of the Champagne Cristal Rosé of the Maison Louis Roederer is the Champagne AOC. It is made with 55% Pinot Noir, 45% di Chardonnay, whom 12% made with wines vinified in wood in French oak barrels and without the malolactic fermentation. The climate where this wine is produced is continental and sunny with a dry and rigid winter season followed by a good summer with few rains. All these characteristics are perfect to create a bodied, fruity and intriguing wine. To produce the Rosé champagne this maison uses the traditional method of maceration and blending; a little percentage of Chardonnay put in a macerated pinot nero and a fermentation to achieve the perfect integration. It matures for 6 years in the cellar and further 8 months after the disgorging. The dose is 8 g/l.
