Wine description
The Bollinger “B13” owes its name to the vintage in which it has been produced: in 2013 the climate was distinguished by a particularly long, cold and snowy winter. This Champagne is produced with Pinot Noir grapes in purity using only 5 crus of which 90% Grand cru and for the remaining Premier Cru. Maturation takes place on the lees for 7 years.
Characteristics of this Champagne
On the organoleptic examination this Champagne B13 stands out for an intense straw yellow color with golden reflections. Smoky and hazelnut notes predominate on the nose while on the palate it is a persistent and balanced wine.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this Champagne
This Champagne is excellent in combination with dishes based on seafood so well structured. To be served at a temperature of 8-10 ° C in a tapered glass.
