Sordo
The Sordo winery was founded by Giuseppe Sordo in the early '900, and as in the best family traditions, is now run by the grandson of the same Giuseppe, Giorgio Sordo. The company is located in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto and is located at the foot of the hill of Barolo. The winery can count on a total area of over fifty hectares, of which currently about forty are planted with vines, and distributed in the municipalities of the Langhe, in some of the best areas for exposure and microclimate. Among the rows, followed modern agronomic techniques, and the conduct of vineyards is highly respectful of the environment and ecosystem, therefore the use of chemical fertilizers and herbicides is totally banned. In the cellar, modern winemaking, bottling and storage facilities are flanked by special aging rooms, in which there are more than one hundred large oak barrels. In this way, in strict respect of local traditions, wines of high value are born, rich in aromas and aromas, long-lived and of absolute quality. Labels, those that come from the Sordo winery, daughters of a deep love for their lands and for their vineyards, and the result of an unconditional passion for their work and for their origins.
