The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG of the Cellar The Marroneto comes from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown on vineyards of sandy sea rich in minerals. The manual harvest leads to the collection of the best bunches which are then subjected to vinification in oak vats for a duration of about 16/17 days. The refinement phase requires permanence in oak barrels for a period of 39 months. After 5 years the wine can therefore be considered Brunello.
