Rosso di Montepulciano "Prugnolo"’s features
This wine from the Boscarelli Winery, is produced with the vinification of grapes of Sangiovese, Mammolo, Colorino and Cannaiolo derived from a selection of vineyards younger and rich in aromas. The wine ages for half in small barrels and the rest in large barrels, then filtered before bottling. It has an intense ruby color and aromas of roses, violets, marasca cherries combined with hints of spices and licorice.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this Tuscan red wine
Perfect with pasta dishes rich in sauce, such as Tagliatelle with meat sauce. It also goes well with white dishes as long as they are structured with mushrooms and sausages. The main courses can be served with grilled meat or stewed meat. Pizzaiola meat is the ideal match. The wine should be served at a temperature of 17ºC in glasses not very wide.
