From a blend of Glera 90% and Perera 10% grapes comes this Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOCG ERGI from the Nani Rizzi winery. The vineyards are located near Podere Pareda, at an altitude of approximately 250/300 m above sea level: the Valdobbiadene production area is characterised in particular by generally clayey soil, due to its marine origin. After the manual harvest which takes place in September, the traditional white winemaking process with soft pressing is carried out: as per the regulations, the Martinotti or Charmat Method is adopted with autoclave fermentation, with the addition of foam after approximately 60-90 days. A final aging of 1 month in the bottle is expected.
Features of this Prosecco Extra Dry
It has a pale straw yellow color and a fine, persistent perlage. The olfactory notes recall yellow-fleshed fruit, acacia and white flowers. On the palate it is fresh, pleasantly savoury and mineral.
