From the vinification of grapes of Piedirosso grape (locally called Per and Palummo) 50% and Aglianico 50%. The origin is the classic of the area of Furore and neighboring municipalities, On the Amalfi Coast. The harvest develops during the second decade of October Manual harvest management. The vinification provides that the grapes harvested manually arrive in the cellar intact, after destemming and crushing are subjected to fermentation with maceration lasting 12 days with subsequent malolactic fermentation and processing in barrels of second passage of French oak. 6 months of French oak barriques.
Characteristics of this Campania wine
The wine has an intense ruby red color, bright and lively. The nose opens with clear fruity notes, reminiscent of ripe cherry, plum and cherry, then followed by hints of licorice, undergrowth and Mediterranean maquis. The taste has the palate is fresh and full-bodied, consistent with the smell and good persistence. Pleasantly savory finish.
