Palazzo lana Satèn, cuvee of the prestigious Berlucchi company is an elegant, refined and delicate white wine. It is produced with 100% Chardonnay grapes. The grapes comes from high density cultivations in the Borgonato hamlet in “vigna Castello di Borgonato”, Arzelle and San Carlo in the core of Franciacorta. The profit is around 80-100 quintals per hectare with a must profit of 35%. The wine making process occurs in the core of the must: the must obtained pass through the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels and it follows 8 months on selected and prestigious yeasts. The maturation of the cuvee occurs in the next spring after the harvest. Finally it is bottled with the liqueur of tirage of 20 grams per liter of sugars and selected yeasts. The aging on yeasts lasts 6 years.
Characteristics of PALAZZO LANA by Berlucchi
It has soft foam and a delicate perlage. The straw yellow color is quite intense with light gold reflections which remind to the prestigious and the refinery of this product. The perfume has a wide creamy bouquet with evident floral hints joined by bakery, butter and acacia honey aromas. The taste is silky with ripen fruits, yeasts and brioche flavors sustained by a great sapid taste.
