LA MONTINA
The Montina was born in 1987 in Monticelli Brusati, a village located in a beautiful strip of land in the North East of Franciacorta, Lombardy. The first information about La Montina date back to 1620, when the estate was owned by a noble Brescia family headed by Benedetto Montini, ancestor of Pope Paul VI, from whose surname derives the name of the company.La Montina follows the production method of Franciacorta, which provides for the use of noble vines and exclusively prescribes the manual harvesting of grapes, allowing the creation of fine and elegant wines, able to keep intact the organoleptic characteristics of each vine used.
