CIU CIU
Located in the hills of the Piceno hinterland, Offida binds its historical and cultural roots to wine, as it enjoys a strategic location equidistant from the Adriatic coast and mountain. The sea air that comes from the east creeps between the heights and blends with the scents, colors and flavors of the earth creating a magical and unusual scenery. The hills of the Offidan territory and the surrounding municipalities between Tronto and Tesino allow, thanks to their particular geographical position, the production of fine wines whose quality is always improving. The farm Ciù Ciù, owned by the Bartolomei family, was founded in 1970 by Natalino and Anna and is located a few kilometers from the medieval Offida (AP), a beautiful town full of events and traditions. The company’s commitment and tradition, together with the conviction that wine should be the most authentic expression of the territory, give rise to a wide range of wines: from the autochthonous vines of Marche Passerina and Pecorino - rediscovered by the passion of a few winemakers - to the most famous Sangiovese, Merlot, Barbera, Montepulciano, Pinot and Chardonnay. Ciù Ciù wines are an authentic expression of the winery’s commitment and tradition, the result of research and quality both in the vineyard and in the cellar, but also of a quality natural viticultural ecosystem with a "territory" (microclimate, soil and subsoil) unique and irreplaceable.
