Cascina San Pietro
The Cascina San Pietro's winery is housed in the ancient Cascina dating back to the second half of 700 and is located in the town of Cazzago San Martino. Obtained within the existing original environments of the Cascina without disfiguring the architectural structure, in particular the "stable" (in '700) now houses the room intended for vinification and storage, with stainless steel tanks conditioned thermo, while, the "historic cellar" conducted by sharecroppers until the 90s now houses the storage room of reserve wines Franciacorta and Rosso Curtefranca in stainless steel tanks and barriques and the storage room for bottles Franciacorta on the lees. The processing takes place through the use of modern equipment, such as the "lung press" which allows the soft processing of the grapes, and as the "giropallets", suitable for the operation of a "remuage" more homogeneous bottles.
