ANTIGORI
Antigori Winery is linked to the Sardinian locality of Sanluri, south Sardinia, but it is in the locality Su Spantu and more precisely in Capoterra, that the vineyard is located: in Sardinian spantu means "amazement" which is exactly what one feels when observing the slopes of this vineyard, which enjoys the proximity of the sea, the mountains and the typical elements of the Sardinian territory such as cork, myrtle and strawberry tree. The slope is 5% and with a southern exposure, the soils are rocky for a total area of 10 hectares. It was designed in 2008 by the oenologist Giacomo Tachis with the idea of supporting Carignano, Bovale, Cabernet-Sauvignon. The result is the production of five different IGT Isola dei Nuraghi Biologica red wines, born from the same vineyard but with different times and altitudes. Production amounts to 50,000 bottles per year.
