Prestigious red wine with the IGT Isola dei Nuraghi certification. It is produced by the Turriga estate in agro di Selegas – Piscina Trigus on soils located at 230 meters above the sea level and characterized by calcar, pebbly and sandy layer alternated with crush rocks. The climate is the Mediterranean typical of Sardinia with mite winters, few rains and very hot and ventilated summers. There is a manual picking of the grapes between October and November. There is the fermentation under temperature control at 28°-32°C and the maceration for about 16-18 days by using the delestage technique. . It follows the aging period for 18-24 months in new oak French barrels. Finally the bottle refinement for 12-14 months.

The Turriga of Argiolas has an intense ruby red color almost austere, very deep and satin. The perfume is superb, penetrating, rich and complex. The taste is powerful, structured always balanced, fine and persistent.
Suggested pairings with this red wine Turriga
The powerful structure and the complex tastes make it perfect for boar in humid, furry game, spices red meats and aged pecorino. It has to be served at 18°-20° C in a Ballon or Grand Ballon wine glass after a short settling time.
