This “Spumante Millesimato Riserva D’Antan” is produced with traditional methods that give to this sparkling wine its unmistakable intensity and unicity, supported by the richness of Cortese variety, while Pinot Noir helps for the elegance of its rosé colour. With its long aging in the bottle, about 10 years in contact with local selected yeast, we obtain a unique wine that doesn’t betray. Its unexpected freshness is joined to honey aromas mixed with spices, dried fruits and chocolate. A rare, harmonious wine, thought for those experts who could appreciate it. It is the perfect result of the cooperation of nature and man. We use mainly Cortese grapes, but we add also a little percentage of Pinot Noir grapes (3-5%) to create its typical rosé colour. The fruits come from the hills located in the production zone of Gavi DOCG. Classic fermentation in the bottle followed by a long period of aging, maturation on yeasts for even more than ten years. It is suggested to drink it max three years after its production.
Features of Spumante MILLESIMATO D’ANTAN ROSE’
Light pink, a little retro. The intense scent contains spices, surrounded by hints of patisserie and white chocolate. The first impression is characterized by intense hints of exotic fruits that are transformed in honey and spices after a while, to build a context that we could define soft and elegant. Its taste is important, dry, strong and fresh, with a smooth feeling caused by the long rest on yeasts. Pleasant sourness surrounded by a nice sensation of almond. The final is full of candied fruits.
