Gaja winery, located in Piedmont, produces this sensational “Rosso Langhe DOC”. It is a red blend, composed by 35% Nebbiolo, 35% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes come from vineyards cultivated around Barbaresco and Serralunga, great areas for the oenological Panorama. The fermentation of the three varieties is managed separately for three weeks. At the end of the malolactic fermentation, the assembly and the aging, in wood, for 12 months. In 1937, Giovanni Gaja, Angelo’s father, decided to create a label for its wines on which the name “Gaja” was clear and recognizable. Today, this prestigious name is famous worldwide, for its label of course, btu mainly for the excellence of its products. “Langhe Rosso DOC Sito Moresco”, after its 18 months maturation in barrique, is balanced, elegant and perfumed.
