The classification for this spectacular and refined wine of the Sicilian tradition is that of Sicily DOC which certifies the Denomination of Controlled Origin. The vinification involves the use of Frappato, Merlot, Syrah grapes in equal percentages close to 33% in reference to the millesimato of production, in order to always give the product an adequate linearity over the years. The origin falls within the company areas and is located in the hills of Baglio Sorìa. The harvest takes place manually, from the first to the third week of September functionally to the vine. The vinification follows the traditional method with maceration of the skins, in stainless steel tanks. Finally, the refinement of the wine which develops in 6-month French oak barriques.
Sicilia DOC Bayamore Firriato’s features
A bright and brilliant ruby red colour. The scent on the nose leaves the hints of small ripe red fruits stand out. The taste is characterized by a dense concentration of important and elegant tannins.
