Rosso di Montalcino Caprili is a great Italian red wine and it is considered by many Brunello di Montalcino “little brother”. It’s made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. Bunches are harvested, selected and fermented in stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature for 15-20 days. Rosso di Montalcino maturation takes place in small oak barrels for 12 months, than the wine is bottled. During the bottling time, refinement process goes on for 3 months in cellar.
Characteristics of Rosso di Montalcino
It presents a ruby, almost garnet red colour. On the nose it releases a very elegant and intense bouquet. Elegant and clear in taste, with a pleasant aftertaste of raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and currant.

It should be served in a wide transparent crystal glass at a temperature of 16- 18°C. We suggest to uncork the bottle some minutes before serving. It can be paired with main courses with meat sauce, white meat and fresh of middle-aged cheeses.
