Caprili
The Winery Caprili was founded in 1965 by the family Bartolommei, the year in which planted the first vineyards; the first bottle of Brunello di Montalcino dates back to 1978. The property extends for 58 hectares located in the municipality of Montalcino, on the slope that descends towards the river Orcia and Ombrone; are exposed to the South West and enjoy a dry and breezy climate with land of eoceanica origin rich in minerals. The winemaking favors natural processes with the use of native yeasts, thus giving to the wine a precise territorial identity. The company cooperates with the University of Environmental Sciences of Siena, with the aim of individualising and disseminate the finest clones of Sangiovese. The Company's philosophy is to promote and spread awareness of “drinking well” exploiting the uniqueness and traceability of the product; combining the promotion and the protection of the land, preserving it for future generations. The wines of this winery are: Rosso di Montalcino and Brunello di Montalcino.
