This product of the Firriato winery boasts the I.G.T. Terre Siciliane. The vine used for its production is vinified in blend with Inzolia, Catarratto, Carricante and Zibibbo. The origin of the vineyards lies in the Agro di Trapani in the Pianoro Cuddìa estate. Manual harvesting extends into the first and second ten days of September. The vinification involves soft pressing, fermentation at a controlled temperature and the aging of the wine lasts for 6 months "sur lie" in stainless steel tanks with daily stirring.
Quater Vitis Bianco Firriato’s features
A bright straw yellow colour with marked hints of green. The scent is represented by a fine and complex aromatic picture, where elegant nuances dialogue reminiscent of medlar, orange, pineapple, mango, orange blossom, elderberry and lime, which alternate with lavender scents , thyme, ginger and flint. The taste proceeds soft and gentle, relaxing and opening with serene authority, thanks to its important texture and a very pleasant and vibrant acidity; persistent beyond words, it re-proposes on the palate the important aromatic kaleidoscope with which it is accompanied.
