A wine for the most important occasions of conviviality and celebration. A renowned wine that Cantina Cecchi produces in Tuscany and which well interprets the Chianti tradition. The grapes used are Sangiovese for 95%, and Colorino for 5%. The provenance is the classic one of Tuscany, in the Castellina in Chianti estate. The vinification involves the use of the traditional red technique with prolonged maceration on the skins. Fermentation takes place for 15 consecutive days and finally the wine is refined for 14 months in barriques and tonneaux. This is followed by a period of at least 9 months in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine from Cecchi Winery
Upon organoleptic examination, the wine has an intense and glossy ruby red color. The scent on the nose is characterized by floral notes and fruity memories of plum and cherry, complemented by tertiary and spicy hints. The taste in the sip creates a beautiful balance between body, freshness, alcohol content and tannins. Excellent length.
