“Palazotto” by Maculan is a bottle that represents all the traditions of its winery. It is produced with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, cultivated in the best areas of the hills of DOC Breganze, where the volcanic soils are mainly characterized by tuff. The grapes are selected manually during the harvest. Once they arrive in the cellar, the wine making process considers 8 days maceration in steel, with continuous pumping over the grapes drags in order to obtain the best extraction of perfume and colour. The aging is then developed in barriques (both new and used) for a period that lasts around one year.
Features of the red wine “Palazzotto Cabernet Sauvignon”
The organoleptic exam shows a shiny ruby red colour. Its scent is elegant and intense, with hints of liquorice and red fruits. The taste id dry and full with a perfect balance between the noble tannins of the wine and the ones of the wood of the barriques.
