This wine is produced by Filari di Luna winery in La Morra hamlet in the Cuneo province by using 100% Nebbiolo grapes. For the cultivation is used the French Guyot method on vines which were planted in 1980 at 380 meters above the sea level. The exposition is South, South-west so to receive the light during the whole day even in winter season. The soil is made by moraine with prevalence of marl with clay and limestone rocks. The grape harvest takes place during the first 20 days of October. There is a manual picking and the maceration takes place on peels for 15 days under temperature control. The wine age for 4 years in Slovenian oak barrels and the final refinement in bottle lasts 12 months.

The Barolo Riseva della cantina Filari di Luna has a garnet colour with orange reflections. The scent is intense and persistent with marked cherry and prune aromas in addition to some tobacco, spicy and liquorice hints. The taste is warm, rich, intense and persistent.
