From the 100% pure vinification of fine Nebbiolo grapes to this precious Barolo DOCG that the Ratti winery identifies as the finest label of its artisanal production. The grapes come from the prestigious sub-area called Rocche dell'Annunziata "La Morra" The harvest takes place during the month of October when the grapes have reached perfect ripeness. The vinification after the destemming - soft crushing of the berries, proceeds with the fermentation at a controlled temperature of 30°C. Maceration follows, which on average develops for 7 days. Then the further malolactic fermentation in November, in wooden barrels. The aging takes place for the first year in French oak barrels and the second year in Slavonian oak barrels of 25 hectoliters.

The wine has a garnet red color. The aroma is delicate and persistent with a hint of licorice, pink and violet. The taste is full, warm and long-lasting.
