COSTA ARENTE

Located in the heart of Valpantena, in particular in Grezzana near Verona, Costa Arènte Winery covers an area of 35 hectares of which 17 are dedicated to viticulture: it is located on a hill located at 250 m usl, in fact "costa" is precisely the side of the hill that descends gently to the valley. The company vineyards are entirely aimed at the cultivation of corvina, corvinone and rondinella grapes and are located in an optimal position, since thanks to their particular location they benefit from the typical breeze of the Lessini Mountains; in fact, Valpantena enjoys a climate that is characterized by significant temperature variations between day and night and good exposure to the sun: moreover the soils on which the vines grow are perfect for viticulture as the roots are able to sink deeply in order to absorb the earth's best nutrients. The entire production cycle of the wines of this Veneto winery takes place within the company itself, in full respect of nature and tradition, obviously without neglecting the peculiarities of the territory. The harvest takes place strictly by hand and only small portions of plots are grown to obtain limited but high quality productions.
