Produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes, this red wine from the Tuscan winery Val di Suga originates in the heart of Montalcino, on soils of the three different sides of the denomination: here the soil is clayey and calcareous, with a good presence of sand and stones. Maturation of this fine red wine takes place in 50-hectolitre Slavonian oak casks for a duration of 24 months, followed by a further 6 months in cement vats.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
On organoleptic examination, it has a very intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The olfactory bouquet is very complex and recalls red fruits but also liquorice and leather. On the palate the drink is full, generous.
