PALADIN
The Paladin winery was founded in 1962. Today it can boast more than half a century of history: five decades, made of passion, dedication, research and respect for traditions, which have led the Paladin family to be part of the most important wineries in Veneto and beyond, since over the years the same Paladin have also become protagonists of other wineries, in Tuscany with the Castelvecchi and Vèscine estates, and in Franciacorta with Castello Bonomi. The company founded by Valentino Paladin, now consists of a group, expertly led by the latter’s sons, Carlo, Lucia and Roberto, who daily manage the company thanks to continuous and constant stimuli, but always aiming to achieve what from the beginning has been the main goal: to produce wines of great territorial typicality, responding to the highest possible excellence. In Veneto, the Paladin family run the winery "Bosco del Merlo", created in 1977 and today extended over an area of about one hundred hectares, of which 84 are vineyards. Among the rows, with the utmost respect for the environment and the ecosystem, a reasoned viticulture is applied, in order to enhance the best characteristics of the fruit. Grown in spurred cordon and cultivated according to the rules of organic farming, the plants are treated in a rigorous and scrupulous manner, so that they come to produce fine and qualitatively impeccable grapes. Both clusters of international grapes and autochthonous varieties, arrive in the cellar to be processed using all the most modern techniques and wine making technologies, always used and applied, however, in such a way as to keep intact the typicality and intrinsic peculiarities of the fruit. After fermentation, the wines rest for more or less long periods on their fine lees, in order to acquire structure, complexity and elegance. This is how labels are born that have been receiving international awards and recognitions for years. From Chardonnay to Pinot Grigio, from Traminer Aromatico to Prosecco Brut and Millesimato, passing through Merlot, Cabernet and Raboso, are wines, those that bear the name "Paladin"which together form a wide and varied range, particularly interesting in terms of organoleptic characteristics, and extremely excellent in terms of quality.
