The Roero is that area located in the North side of the Tanaro river and the Nebbiolo vines give life to a very appreciate and prestigious wine called “Roero” that in the local dialect means “after the region”. Here on steep slopes quite sterile and sandy there are the Roero hills where the Nebbiolo vine spreads on the south side. The “Roero DOCG” of the Massucco winery is a flavored wine, very elegant and generous with an inviting ruby red color. The taste is dry, wide, warm and sometimes velvety that together with the tannins, makes this wine very popular for the matches with the local cooking.
