Produced with 100% Chardonnay grapes, this white wine from Abruzzo has its origins in the Morro d'Oro and Noteresco vineyards, near Teramo: these extensions are located at an altitude of 300 m usl with south exposure and calcareous-clayey soils. Its name derives from the fact that the harvest in the second half of August takes place at night, "under the stars". After the soft pressing phase, a stay on the skins for about 12 hours takes place at a controlled temperature: this is the technique that takes the name of cryomaceration, which precedes the fermentation phase. The wine then rests in steel tanks and is then decanted and bottled, with a brief final refinement in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Abruzzo wine
The organoleptic examination shows a straw yellow color with golden reflections and an olfactory bouquet of flowers and exotic fruit. On the palate it is slightly savory and with a fruity finish.
