Produced with 100% Pinot Grigio grapes, this Abruzzo white wine draws its origins from the company's vineyards located in Morro d'Oro, near Teramo, at an altitude of 250 m usl and planted on limestone-clayey soils. Its name derives from the fact that the harvest takes place at night, "under the stars": after the grapes are harvested, the crushing-destemming and soft pressing takes place, until the desired coppery color is reached. This is followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature for 15 days and maturation in steel in contact with the skins.
Characteristics of this Abruzzo wine
The organoleptic test shows a golden yellow color with coppery reflections. The olfactory notes are fruity, particularly reminiscent of citrus fruits and spices. On the palate it is enveloping and with a mineral and citrus finish.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this Abruzzo white wine
It is a versatile wine, excellent in combination with tasty fish dishes but also with white meats or vegetarian dishes. Try it as an aperitif too. Serve at a temperature of 8-10 ° C in a tapered glass.
