It has the denomination AOC, like all the prestigious Champagne in France. This cuvée is composed by 33% Pinot Noir, 34% Pinot Meunier and 33% Chardonnay, the three varieties used for the production of Champagne. “Demi Sec Rich” rests and matures in the cellars of the Maison for at least three years and 30 crus compose this label. An interesting wine that add to its softness a great intensity. It is perfect at the end of the meal, to conclude in the best way. After the harvest, the grapes are pressed softly. The must is then stabilized at 6°C for 24 hours. The alcoholic fermentation in steel containers at a controlled temperature of 18°C follows. Each variety coming from a different cru is managed separately till the assembly. All the wines produced by Pol Roger pass through a complete malolactic fermentation. After the tasting, the assembling and the bottling, the second fermentation and the maturation are managed in the cellars of the Maison, located 33 meters underground. 3 months maturation.
