This is a prestigious white wine of the Tissier cellar. Thanks to this fantastic wine the Cellar won between the 2005 and the 2011 several national rewards. The wine is composed by 50% Pinot Meunier and 50% Chardonnay grapes. The cellar is located in a local microclimate marked by an elevate humidity of the soil. This is a peculiar characteristic of the territory at East of Paris in the south of Reims.
The Characteristics of this Champagne
The Champagne Millesime Argos has a yellow color characterized by pleasant and fascinating green reflections especially when crossed by the sun light. It has lots of little bubbles which makes the wine expressive and lively. The scent has a large range of candied fruits, honey, dry apricots, prunes jam and orange peel aromas. There is an aftertaste of nuts and dry lime. The taste is lively with a round taste which tends to a more soft and ripen flavors. The taste is full, rich and it leaves a long taste and scent persistence with a candied orange and moka flavors.
Suggested matches while tasting this Champagne
It is perfect with the French cooking, with the butter scallops, the fish with herbs sauce and very sapid white meat. It is perfect for a couple luxury meal. It has to be served at 6-8°C.
