The Brunello di Montalcino "Vigna la Casa" of Caparzo is obtained, as per disciplinary, with 100% Sangiovese grapes from a vineyard adjacent to the winery; Caparzo is one of the first in Montalcino to produce a "cru" in 1977. After the harvest is strictly manual, it ferments on the skins at a controlled temperature for about ten days, then it goes into large cask for 3 years; it completes the aging with at least 6 months in bottle.
Characteristics of this Brunello di Montalcino
Ruby red wine tending to garnet; On the nose there are hints of small red fruits that end in tones of tobacco and noble woods. The palate has a good structure, harmonious and with a good persistence.
