The result of the wise and conscientious vinification of the 100% Aglianico del Vulture grape variety. The origin of the vines falls on the site in the district "Title" in the town of Barile, the heart of the production of Aglianico. The harvest takes place at the end of October, carried out entirely by hand with the use of small boxes. The vinification involves destemming and soft pressing. Traditional fermentation in red with a temperature not exceeding 22ºC. It follows the aging in new barriques for at least 12 months. Bottling towards the end of the year following the harvest. Aging in bottle for 12 months before going to market.
Aglianico del Vulture "TITOLO" DOC's features
The organoleptic examination shows an intense ruby red color with strong garnet reflections. The scent is broad and complex, decidedly fruity and ethereal, with clear spicy hints. Strong sensations of cherry and fruit jam, currant and rosemary, tobacco and cinnamon with light hints of vanilla. The taste has a dry, warm, broad structure and long aromatic persistence. Wine with a strong personality, still very young and destined for a great future.
Suggested pairings while tasting this red wine
