The red wine Croatina IGP of the winery Riccardi located in Casino Soriasco, S. Maria della Versa in the Oltrepò Pavese area, comes from 100% Croatina grapes, grown in the vineyard Ferracano. The vinification is preceded by a maceration of 4-5 days to allow the extraction of pigments and odorous substances found in the skins. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 25°C, with a second fermentation in autoclave. Refinement in the tank for 5 months.
Characteristics of Croatina wine
The color is intense ruby red. The aroma is intense with hints of red berries. In the mouth it is full, dry, slightly sparkling.
Recommended pairings to Croatina wine
Serve in goblets of medium size and temperature of 16-18°C. It is perfect with red meats and to whole range of meats and traditional dishes.
