Descrizione del vino
This Chardonnay Sicilia Menfi Didacus from the renowned Sicilian Planeta winery was born as a tribute to Diego Planeta, founder of the winery itself. The grapes used for the production of this white wine are 100% Chardonnay grapes, harvested by hand and subsequently subjected to pressing. The fermentation procedure takes place in steel with the final phase of aging in wooden barrels of different origins.
Characteristics of this Sicilian wine
Organoleptic examination shows a bright golden yellow color and an olfactory bouquet of exotic fruit, citrus fruits, toasted hazelnuts, spices. On the palate it is pleasantly fresh and with a long, slightly savory finish.
Recommended pairings with this Sicilian white wine
Excellent to taste with fish-based main courses or white meats. Serve at a temperature of 8-10°C.
