This Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG from Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona Winery is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes, produced only in the best vintages: the vineyards can boast the term "Pianrosso" consisting of medium-textured and galestro soils. After the manual harvest, during which only the best bunches are carefully chosen, we proceed with fermentation in steel and cement tanks at a controlled temperature. Aging takes place in Slavonian oak barrels for a period of at least 3 years while the refinement takes place in the bottle for 12 months.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
On the organoleptic examination this Brunello di Montalcino Riserva shows a ruby red color tending to garnet; the olfactory notes are intense and complex and recall red berried fruits and spices. On the palate it is warm and harmonious with well pronounced tannins; good persistence.
