The result is a wine that can satisfy the eye, catch the nose, intrigue the palate. A recent history, that of Bolgheri DOC, where the real production began in the second half of the last century and the official recognition of the denomination is dated 1994. A few years yet enough to make this terroir one of the most important and appreciated by fans of all continents. The sea is the founding element of Tenuta Le Colonne, which is the winery closest to the coast among those that are part of the appellation. A strategic position that offers unique wines and not replicable, simply unforgettable. Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for Reds that carry in their DNA the caress of the Mediterranean breeze and the minerality of volcanic soils. The wines that are born here are certainly classic but Tenuta Le Colonne interprets them with a modern eye, it is enough to see labels with an elegantly contemporary taste, aimed at Millennials, consumers of the present and of the future. Tenuta Le Colonne extends for almost 400 hectares of property, of which about 64 hectares of vineyards that give a Bolgheri DOC from the perfect balance, a Bolgheri Superiore DOC able to grow over the years, with a longevity guaranteed even by the passage in large barrels, of fine French oak. And then a Vermentino Toscana IGT and a Rosato IGT, fresh and lively, suitable for every situation. Sustainable agriculture and research in the cellar of the highest quality standards are essential principles. It is therefore thanks to the painstaking work in the vineyard, respect for tradition and passion for the land that the perfect recipe for the success of these wines is created, which in the cellar are taken care of with a special attention to the smallest details.
