SELLA & MOSCA
One of the most important companies in Sardinia, Sella & Mosca can boast a glorious past and a dynamic present, so projected to the challenges that the future can offer. More than a century has passed since two Piedmontese began to reclaim the lands on which today extend the more than 540 hectares of vineyards owned by the company: the engineer Sella, grandson of the famous statesman Quintino Sella, and the lawyer Moscow. Two adventurers who with their extraordinary work laid the foundations of what would become the most prestigious winery in Sardinia, not far from Alghero, in the province of Sassari, in the north-west of the island. It is no coincidence that those who visit the estate today are able to relive that pioneering atmosphere in a continuous kaleidoscope of scents, smells and aromas. Today owned by Gruppo Campari, Sella & Mosca is a winery that is very linked to its origins, in fact there is no wine that does not tell in a didactic way what are the deepest characteristics of its territory of origin. From the Cannonau to the Vermentino to the Carignano and the Torbato, an ancient white that has been re-proposed to the market thanks to research that lasted many years.
