Letrari, a family that has roots in the history of Trentino wine. Active as early as 1647 in Borghetto d'Avio, on the banks of the Adige, first as river rafters, then traders and shrewd agricultural innovators. With Leonello Letrari immediately on the enoic scene of good drinking. Thanks to him, in the immediate post-war period, the wines of the Dolomites acquired character and prestige beyond the regional borders. It is always him who 'creates' the first blends and in the 60s began to develop valuable sparkling wines. Then he founded in 1976 - together with his wife Maria Vittoria - the current family business.Tradition and innovation are the creed of our company, constantly applied with modern agronomic practices, with the work and dedication of the new generations. The same passion of Leonello also animates today the commitment of his daughter Lucia (winemaker like his father), to whom are entrusted the greatest responsibilities of the company. Shaped by the particular terroir and microclimate of Vallagarina - an environment characterized by the Adige and influenced by the Ora del Garda, which creates here a special microclimate of the Mediterranean type - 23 different types of quality wine are produced with strong varietal typicality.
