GUY LAFORGE
The Champagne Guy Laforge was originally born from a small vineyard that was gradually expanded over the years to reach the current total extension of 12 hectares, corresponding to the property Guy Laforge. La Maison is located in the Vallée de La Marne and the Montagne de Reims. This prestigious artisan reality, is based in Ay, the historic heart of Champagne and is responsible for processing grapes from about 25 hectares of vineyards. The cultivations differ by regions, 50% of the Pinot Meunier vineyards are planted in the Marne Valley, 30% of the Pinot Noir is located in the south of the Aube and 20% of Chardonnay is planted in the Reims Mountains. The Guy Laforge winery makes use of innovative tools such as temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, large storage cellars and with electronic monitoring systems for lying bottles waiting for the foam. All the processing takes place in the cellars of Oger, in the heart of the Cote des Blancs, and is made with cutting-edge technologies. Guy Laforge’s philosophy is to produce champagne of superior quality. The wines of the year are blended with reserve wines in order to obtain a product with a characteristic style, in which the reserves play an important role in the development of Cuvée.
