Sibona
The refined Sibona Distillery is located in the Roero area, in the municipality of Piobesi d'Alba a few kilometers from Alba. Founded a hundred years ago in the same area as an old kiln, the distillery is located in the center of an important wine area where the vines of the most important Piedmontese wines are cultivated: the Nebbiolo grape (from which are obtained Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero wines in their respective production areas), and the vines of Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato, Chardonnay, Arneis and Brachetto. Sibona is one of the historic distilleries of Piedmont and has the old license of distillation N ыыыыыыыыыp. 1 issued by U.T.F (the body of finance that oversees all the operations carried out in the distilleries); this is synonymous with a great past and prestige. Traditionally, the pomace is distilled fresh, upon arrival at the distillery, a device that allows you to extract even more the aromas and aromas of the harvest. In addition to the careful selection of the best pomace of the area, the grappa reach its highest typicality and nobility thanks to careful distillation, constant adaptation and improvement of the plant, the experience of three oenologists who have been engaged for several years in the field of distillates, the elimination of heads and tails, and finally a long period of aging mainly in barrels, which, in addition to making the grappa soft and pleasing, enriches it even more in aromas and complexity.
