The Maison Krug was founded in 1843 in Reims, one of the main areas of production of Champagne, by Joseph Krug with the aim of creating the best Champagne for each vintage regardless of weather conditions. Today the Maison Krug is one of the most important and famous Champagne houses in the world, and is led by the sixth generation of the Krug family: Oliver Krug and Margareth Henriquez. Since 1999 the house belongs to LVMH - Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, French group of companies today world leader in the luxury sector, despite this acquisition the working method of the Maison has remained unchanged, aiming to offer an exceptional Champagne for each Édition of Champagne Krug, which is precisely the number of times that takes place the assembly process of 120 wines selected from more than 10 vintages, made only once a year with a single assembly and a single bottling since 1845.
