BIG PEAT

The brand has been launched in 2009 by Douglas Laing & Co. founded in the middle of the last century with the primary objective of selling Scotch Whiskey all over the world, creating a selection of the best blends: among these there is Big Peat, a blend of Single malts from the Scottish island of Islay, famous for the production of particularly peaty whiskeys. The name itself underlines the particularly strong character of this whiskey which however also has smoky and saline notes, typical of the whiskey produced on the Isle of Islay. The peculiarity of this Whiskey lies in the fact that it is not cold filtered, it is not colored and comes from the so-called Small Batches, small lots of carefully selected barrels, an element that guarantees its uniqueness.
